The Iranian Student Association (IRANSA) is an independent student organization at the University of New South Wales, Sydney.
It was primarily founded by the first surge of Iranian talented students who initially started studying at the University of New South Wales in 2003. The aim of this group has been primarily to support the Iranian students in their new environment and to provide them with a fair level of social connectedness and support. After almost a decade of gaining reputation and yields, the association resumes its fame with its new name, which reflects several major social and structural modifications in order to serve you better. We aim to:
- Support the new Iranian students in terms of the information they need, and support their demand
- Improve the cohesion of the community by strengthening the inter and intrapersonal ties of current members and promoting their social motivation
- Introduce the genuine cultural profile of Iranians within the international context of UNSW Within our big family we have a wide range of ideas, beliefs and attributes, all of which are highly respected.
Above and beyond all the religious, ethnic, or political affiliation each individual subject may have, IRANSA is aimed to serve you and let you actualise all your potentials.
